My story
Before every holiday or event I would rack my brain about what to wear, because dresses looked like a potato sack on me. Constant judgmental looks and thoughts like "what is she wearing", "how ugly" kept spinning in my head. I thought people were looking at me sideways precisely because of the way I looked. In a dress I did not feel comfortable, so it was easier to dress in oversized clothes. That is how I hid all my flaws.
How I lost weight
I had three problems: large breasts, excess weight and no motivation (no "kick"). I solved the first problem surgically, since that was the only way out. The solution to the second problem came to me when, after the surgery, I looked in the mirror and saw my disproportionate body: small breasts and a big belly. The solution came naturally. I started gradually exercising at home, cut down on sweets, and the weight began to slowly come off.
The best motivators in my situation were my children. It was they who said: "What a beautiful mom, you are the best, we love you so much." It was because of them that I wanted to look better and better. The family situation — everyday problems with my husband — gave me even more motivation. I wanted him to notice me after 10 years of marriage.
My result
Now, looking in the mirror, I stand in a gorgeous dress and admire myself. So never be afraid to start something, because if you never start, you will never know whether you could have succeeded.
However, I want to draw your attention to the importance of medical supervision. Sharp changes in weight and body after surgery can affect your hormonal balance. To consolidate and further maintain the result, I would recommend basic lab tests (for example, thyroid hormones, vitamin D) and a consultation with a specialist. This will help you build a balanced diet that gives you energy and rule out hidden physiological causes that may interfere with your progress.
